True … so it is fortunate that I have not claimed that they are. Rather, I have described a process through which male and female brains are destined to become different as they grow and develop. The process involves physical anatomy operating in conjunction with brain plasticity.
I noted that, as Stephanie Leguichard stated in her original article, the plasticity of the brain responds to experience:
Her statement is consistent with this article on the subject of brain plasticity:
I observed that experience is delivered to a brain through a body.
Or, as it was deftly stated by a previous commenter, Swcman:
“We have a consciousness that is distributed over our entire being.”
Male bodies are different from female bodies. Different bodies deliver different experiences. Different experiences produce different neurological structures within the brain. I make no claims one way or the other regarding the “immutability” of the neurological structures produced by the process I have described.
Anatomy influences experience, which influences brain structure and function through brain plasticity.
“…pseudo-Platonic BS…”
…whatever that is.
“Citation needed for your entire line of reasoning.”
My line of reasoning is my own, therefore there is no material available for citation. I have applied the science of anatomy, noted its function in mediating experience, thus influencing brain structure via plasticity. If my line of reasoning is flawed I would be pleased to hear any explanation of those flaws that you may wish to offer.
