There are circumstances under which it would be useful for someone to have such a simple means of disempowering a woman (or anyone else):

1. They are CEO’s of competing companies.
2. They are competing for elected office.
3. They are competing against each other for a desirable promotion.
4. They are engaged in any form of ruthless competition for a valuable prize.

If a man can really disempower a woman by merely speaking a few choice words, then that would go a long way towards explaining why men have been able to successfully dominate women for the last umpteen godzillion years, and would suggest that they are likely to continue to do so for the foreseeable future.
