The techniques men use to obtain sexual access can be divided into two categories.
One involves choosing one or maybe two individual women and relentlessly pursuing them. That technique might work if he happens to choose a woman who takes an immediate liking to him; otherwise, he is likely to be unsuccessful.
After repeated failures, he may become frustrated and behave as you describe. His behavior further reduces his chances of success, and he enters a downward spiral. Poor behavior leads to a lack of success which leads to more poor behavior, and on it goes. These men could benefit from learning to follow the second technique.
The second technique is to initiate interaction with many different women and to continue to pursue only those who display an initial positive response. This technique is more likely to be successful.
Both techniques are attempts by men to alleviate the scarcity of sexual access to women by pursuing women aggressively.

Weinstein made one fatal error. He was offering women access to fame and fortune in exchange for sex. Some women resented the price they had to pay for their fame and fortune. Once those women had achieved fame and fortune, they were in a position to get back at Weinstein. Weinstein's fatal error was failing to realize that by offering women fame and fortune he set the stage for his own downfall.
Weinstein acted foolishly. Weinstein is no Einstein.
