"The End of Eternity" is one of my favorite time travel stories. Asimov often includes satirical portrayals of bureaucracy in his stories. The Foundation had some cumbersome bureaucratic aspects to it. "Eternity" is a bureaucracy that operates the means of time travel.

I could recommend several other Asimov novels. "The Caves of Steel" introduces R. Daneel Olivaw, a robot who appears in "Forward the Foundation" and "Foundation and Earth," the first and last books (in time sequence) of The Foundation Series.

My Medium pen name is taken from a character in "The Gods Themselves."
