That's logical.😎

Patriarchal signaling? Is that a sin in somebody's religion?

"...coming from a place of masculine energy..."

Since I am male, masculine energy would be the only kind of ⚡energy⚡ from which I am qualified to come.

Years ago, women were house slaves and men were wage slaves. Now, women can be wage slaves too. That's progress. Also, men can now be house slaves, although I understand that not many take advantage of that opportunity.

“Are you referring to…”

I am referring to my corner of the world, the times and places I have experienced where, judging from my life experience, men don't have unfettered sexual access to women. I have always lived within the Western industrialized world. According to the feminist narrative with which I am familiar, it is included in "the patriarchy."

If the patriarchy was invented by men to provide unfettered sexual access to women, it would be to my advantage to defend it ruthlessly. Since, in my experience, it has failed to provide me, and men with whom I am familiar, that kind of access, I have no reason to uphold it. I can take it or leave it. If it is successfully dismantled, it will be replaced by something else.

Chances are, from my perspective the "something else" will be no better or worse. Meet the new boss, same as the old boss.

"...If women are sexually active outside their primary relationship..."

That's called cheating, and it's called that for a reason. It is wrong whether done by a man or woman. I was a victim of such behavior and I'd rather not get started about it here. If you want to know more about it you can read the story I published here on Medium:

According to you, "Restricting sexual access to women has been one of the primary behaviours within patriarchy."

This is opposite to the assertion by the author of the article under which our conversation is taking place.

You also state that in nations that have stricter patriarchal laws men have even less sexual access to women. If the original author were correct, one would expect the opposite.

If I may be so bold as to emit another patriarchal signal - I find the claim that patriarchy was invented by men to provide unfettered sexual access to women to be 😎logically😎 inconsistent with my life experience.⚡
