Since I'm a non-feminist, I may not be the person to whom you are addressing this article, but it would interest me to consider some of your points, so I will.

In response to your first point: If somebody, man or woman, is telling me about a bad experience, I am inclined to listen sympathetically.

Your second point: I find people who interrupt others to be obnoxious, no matter who they are or who they're interrupting.

I frequently find myself explaining things to people that they already know. I'm a compulsive explainer.

I don't compliment people on their appearance very often. I avoid telling women that they are "hot". Most hot women already know that they're hot. Besides, my wife and I have been together for 30 years. I don't pursue other women.

I don't attend protests of any kind.

Most people, myself included, are not very good at telling jokes. Those with whom I regularly associate don't usually bother telling jokes. Ordinarily, When someone tells a joke, it warrants an eye roll, that's it. I do enjoy a good smart-aleck remark from time to time because I am a natural smart-aleck. I can appreciate a clever smart-aleck remark, even one that you might consider "sexist."

Hypothetically, if someone were to ask me to explain a "punchline," I would respond, "I will let my remark stand on its own and speak for itself. You either grok it or you don't."

I don't need to make a list to know that my wife does more chores around the house than I do. It has never been an issue. She won't let anyone touch her washing machine. Once, I offered to help her with the dishes. She said, "I won't have no man messing in my kitchen."

Bechdel Test? I apply one test to entertainment media, the DIEM test (Does It Entertain Me?). Any other test is irrelevant.

My favorite entertainment genre is classic science fiction. My favorite author is Isaac Asimov. I did enjoy Xenogenesis by Octavia Butler. I have also read and enjoyed Ursula LeGuin. I have no intention of seeking out works by female authors. If a story that entertains me happens to be written by a woman, I will read it. If women want me to read more works by female authors or more female main characters, they should write science fiction that entertains me.

My favorite TV series are Battlestar Galactica, Stargate SG-1, and Babylon 5. I am also a fan of Star Trek, but it has been around too long and is old and tired. I was not highly impressed by the Star Wars Series. You may use your own judgment as to whether you are satisfied with the number of female leading characters in any of these works.

As for music, I have an app that allows me to download YouTube videos. That is how I have acquired my music collection. I favor music from the 1950-1970 era. I estimate that more than half of the pieces in my collection are by female artists. I guess you could say I am a musical ally.😎🎻

My wife and I are both sports fans. She is a more serious fan than I am. Our favorite sports are football (American) and baseball. We are both fans of the Buffalo Bills. Our favorite players are quarterback Josh Allen and wide receiver Stefon Diggs. Her baseball teams are the New York Mets and the Atlanta Braves. I favor the Pittsburgh Pirates, although they rarely perform well. She is also a devoted fan of NASCAR racing. It would appear that our favorite athletes are all male. Neither of us pays much attention to women's sports.

Finally, I do things that I enjoy. I neither know nor care whether any of them are masculine or feminine.

I have no interest in promoting radical social reform. I would not pay any attention to feminism at all if I did not find feminists so amusing.
