It is reasonable to call attention to problems. If you want to apply the term “patriarchy” to them that is your prerogative. I consider the term irrelevant.

I realize that racism is unjust. Applying the term “patriarchy” is irrelevant to me.

Hierarchy and stratification are inherent characteristics of a massive population. They can both be associated with injustice at times. You are welcome to call attention to those injustices as you see them.

If you want to apply the term “patriarchy” to those injustices, that is your prerogative. I consider the term irrelevant.

I consider each individual to be of equal value to every other individual. I do so without placing any relevance on the term “patriarchy.”
