Invasions do tend to be disruptive. Also, they tend to overrun more peaceful societies. As long as one major nation in the world remains militant, then all must be structured to defend themselves or perish.

The next question would be: Why did this invasive culture appear in the North and other places where dominance hierarchy arose independently?

There is no answer.

If there is no definitive identification of the conditions and circumstances that trigger the emergence of a dominance hierarchy, the door is open to speculation.

Suppose feminists were successful in dismantling the patriarchy. Feminism, as an activist movement, might fade. If the conditions and circumstances that produced patriarchy remain, it might, in the absence of a force (such as feminism) acting against it, reemerge.
