It seems self-explanatory to me.
It might make more sense if you read it as a smart-alec retort to the line that is highlighted above the comment, and to this line:
You see, I am a natural smart-alec (although some would disagree).
My wife once told me that my father should have named me Alex. Sometimes, I will say something, and she will respond, “Okay Alex!” I know exactly what she means when she says that.
In the few instances when I am not being a smart-alec, I am not concerned about women who say they hate men. What difference does it make to me if some random women, who I never even met, say they hate me? I’m probably better off without them. Let them go their way, and I’ll go mine.
