It is valid because it reflects my reaction to the statement, which would not be accurately reflected by an unqualified "yes" or "no."

It is the prerogative of any individual, man or woman, to presume that women are responsible for household chores. When considering marriage or sharing a home, it would be wise for members of a couple to be clear about those arrangements. If the arrangements were clear from the start, it should not be just cause for divorce. I would question the character of anyone who committed to an arrangement and then reneged on that commitment.

I am not "pissy" about divorce, but I realize that a high divorce rate is damaging to society. When divorce occurs for one party's personal self-gratification, it reveals a serious character flaw.

Robert arranged these "challenges" to produce a predetermined outcome. I believe he did so intentionally. He was hoping to create the illusion that those who took the challenge ended up "discovering" something. Of course, it would only work if everyone played by his rules. That is why he assumed an indignant demeanor towards those who deviated from his prescribed rules.
