I'll be as daft as I want to be, when I want to be, and nobody can stop me.😎
I realize it's a thought experiment, or as I expressed it, a "passing fantasy." I introduced a few extraneous variables into the experimental design. But, considering our previous conversation about hating men...
Also, you seem to draw out my smart-aleck nature (or is it my daft nature? I can't be sure). My wife has said that my father should have named me Alex. Sometimes, I'll comment on something and she'll look at me and say, "OK Alex!" I know exactly what she means.
"Enemy based world view?" That is a catchy expression; I'm going to keep that one in mind for possible future use. I'd imagine a woman who openly hates men would be familiar with an enemy based world view. You continue to be consistent, which gives me a sense of security.
I have not, do not, and will not claim that men are necessary for procreation. I have no opinion on that issue.
My claim is that since I am a man, if men did not exist then I would not exist. I really like existing. I'd miss my existence terribly if it was taken away, or never given to me in the first place. I'm sorry if my existence troubles you, but I won't give it up without a fight.
My claim has nothing to do with procreation; I have already been procreated, so that's not an issue.
The goalposts have not moved.
They are firmly rooted in place.
I am pleased to have made the acquaintance of a fellow Asimov fan. Nobody who likes Isaac can be all that bad. I am more than just a fan, I am a character in one of Asimov's novels.
