If you didn’t actually read the article, just say so.

If there ever comes a time when I don’t read an article, you’ll be the first to know.

The author said people have the freedom of choice…”

Indeed she did. Here is what Monica S wrote:

She acknowledged freedom of choice, which is a simple fact. In the following sentence, her statement implies that women should make the choice that supports her social reform agenda rather than the choice they might prefer.

She made the same implication several more times:

She makes it clear that she objects to women choosing to become “tradwives.” …

Despite her perfunctory acknowledgment of freedom of choice, she is plainly expressing strenuous objection to anyone who chooses to be a tradwife. She is objecting on the grounds that the choice to be a tradwife impedes her social reform agenda.

She is insisting that couples arrange their lives around promoting her social reform agenda. Couples do not require approval from Monica S for how they choose to arrange their lives. Couples are not obliged to arrange their lives around her social reform agenda. It is none of her business.

I hope you’ll forgive me for not reading the article before commenting.
