If that is true, then why is it more socially acceptable?
Both of our explanations represent possibilities. Either one could be correct. I have more questions than answers.
Do men define their masculinity, or is it defined for them?
Are the traits that are characteristic of men and women the result of social forces, or are men and women observed to have those traits which are then reinforced by social forces?
There does not seem to be a definitive answer. It is similar to the chicken/egg conundrum (Which came first, the chicken or the egg?). Generally, people seem to choose the explanation that best supports their chosen ideology.
I will continue to consider these as open questions unless or until there is a definitive answer. Right now, there are more questions than answers.
"...If she being honest, she'll say yes."
Most do not give an absolute "yes." Are you saying they are liars?
Interesting. You attribute women's degree of honesty to hormones, yet you deny that testosterone, a hormone, has any effect on men's behavior. Could this be an example of choosing the point of view that best supports your preferred ideology?
NURTURE IS NATURE
They are one and the same.
Individual humans are predisposed, as a result of evolutionary forces, to interact with one another. Members of a population collaborate with other members to procure life-sustaining and other resources from the environment. Culture and social structure emerge from such collaborative interactions. The form taken by the emergent structures is predominantly, if not entirely, determined by the nature of the environment that the population inhabits. The form assumed by a particular culture or social structure is not the result of the will or any conscious intent of any individual member or faction of the population. It is a natural process.
Human infants and toddlers require nurturing or they will not survive. While being nurtured, children absorb the culture and learn to function within their native social structure. Some cultural protocols and social functions are absorbed with no conscious effort. It is a natural process.
Nurture is nature.
