I was hoping that my response would provoke a more extensive conversation with Lindz, but she apparently had nothing further to add.

Most folks in general, including myself, have their minds made up. I do not aim to change anyone’s mind. Instead, my hope is that my readers will remember the ideas I express, not that they will necessarily agree with them. If my readers remember the ideas then the ideas will influence their thoughts either consciously or unconsciously.

I hope to plant a seed of thought in the fertile soil of a curious mind, then walk away having faith that it will grow, even if I am not there to see it.

I enjoy presenting my thoughts and ideas to others whose ideas are contrary to my own. Ideas that are forged in the crucible of adversarial debate emerge in a more durable form.

Feminists frequently seek to obstruct the public expression of ideas that challenge their ideology, rather than seeking to defend their ideological principles in vigorous, adversarial debate. Their principles have not been forged in the crucible, and that is a weakness. It would be wise for those of us who seek to reduce the influence of Feminist ideology in legal, social, economic, and educational policies to be aware of that weakness and find ways to take advantage of it.
