Is there a new Star Wars beyond the original six? I own all six on DVD. I acquired them at various yard sales for $1 or less. I enjoyed them, but they did not impress me as first-rate science fiction.

First of all, the aliens were not terribly imaginative. They were just humans with bizarre appearances. That is one of the limitations of video science fiction. The aliens must be played by human actors. The story themes were unoriginal and could have been told just as well through genres other than science fiction.

The best science fiction is in written form - short stories and novels. As I mentioned in my previous comment, Isaac Asimov is my favorite author.

The phrase "radical social reform" refers to the goal of dismantling the entire system and constructing a brand-new one. I have had conversations where someone told me I am obligated to work towards that goal.

The issue of abortion is one on which I choose not to express any opinion. It is highly emotionally charged and polarized. The factions will passionately argue ad infinitum. There is no final resolution in sight.

I consider the term ideological jargon referring to the principle that people should treat each other with dignity and courtesy. While I uphold the principle, I do not practice any particular ideology associated with that principle.
