I live in a small community. This time of year, when bears are waking from hibernation, they wander into our suburban, residential neighborhoods to raid people's garbage. Some are caught on people's security cameras and the videos are broadcast on local news. No humans have been harmed by any of these bears.

I know this is not adhering to the topic, but I couldn't resist the opportunity to tell a bear story.

P. S. My wife says she wouldn't want to encounter either a strange man or a bear.
