I haven't kept close enough track to know which of her past men it is. She seems to be floating on a cloud right now. When the cloud evaporates she could be in for a let-down. I hope not. We'll see.
She has a couple more articles about her personal metamorphic journey. If you'd like to read them I'll send the links.
Her experience offers some insight into the common attitude we read on Medium - all the women who proclaim, "I don't need or want no man! There are no good men, they all suck."
If any of them knew where to find a good man, they'd change their tune fast. The good men are with good women, which is why they can't find them.😎
My young life was similar to yours. I did odd jobs like mowing lawns etc. In Buffalo, NY shoveling snow is a way of life. I was in St. Louis during the summer, once, a long time ago. I don't remember why, but I remember the heat.
We passed through in 2015 on the way to Mansfield. My wife is an avid fan of Laura Ingalls Wilder. Her museum is in Mansfield. We were in a van. I made it a point to go around to the south. That was the year there were van-tipping rioters in the northern suburbs.
If I'm ever in that area again I want to visit the Cahokia site.
