I have no quarrel with women who prefer particular characteristics in the men with whom they might share their lives. It is their prerogative to do so.
What baffles me is their compulsion to write articles demanding that the entire male population conform to their expectations. In some of these articles, the writer acknowledges that she has a husband or boyfriend who meets her expectations. Why, then, would she care whether the rest of the population conforms to her expectations?
In many of these articles, the writer tries to convince men that they will be alone and lonely if they fail to conform to her expectations. I know of many men, myself included, who do not conform to the commonly expressed expectations, yet each is married to a woman who appreciates him as he is and who he appreciates as she is.
Not all women have identical expectations. I, personally, would not marry the women who have written these articles.
