“You have too many walls up…”

I have no idea what “walls” you are talking about.

Your reference to “walls” seems to be an obfuscation for your reluctance to answer the questions I have posed. That’s understandable; you are not obliged to respond if you’d rather not.

I am satisfied that having planted a seed of thought in the fertile soil of your curious mind…

… I can walk away having faith that it will grow…

…even if I am not there to see it.

It is true, as you say, that “there is potential in all humans to look beyond our differences and embrace unconditional love.” There is also potential for humans to act selfishly, exploit others to their own advantage and attend to their own self-interests without regard for the well-being of others. Which of these two opposing potentials prevails differs from individual to individual.

Many times when someone uses the term “equality” they are using the term to refer to an “ideal world.” I hope you understand that if it ever comes to pass that everyone can agree on what constitutes an ideal world, it would not likely match your concept of an ideal world or that of any other individual. It would be a compromise and therefore not technically ideal for any one individual. A universally ideal world is therefore unachievable.

An effective compromise requires that everyone’s concept of the ideal be taken into consideration. Currently, participants in the various activist movements who are seeking an ideal world seem unwilling to consider the perspectives of their opponents. Feminists, for example, refuse to consider the perspective of men’s rights activists, and vice versa.

In view of the conflicting interests among the various factions and among individuals, it would be extremely unlikely that anyone could create what they consider to be an ideal world without imposing it by force.

“Do you at least know yourself?”

I’ve never been formally introduced, but the voices in my head are telling me who I am, and I believe them.

I’ll let you get back to work now. Try not to get so bogged down that you find yourself climbing the walls.
