I don't take the "World Without Men" articles as seriously as you appear to. I consider them a form of amusement. This one, like most, is not very well thought out. I find the entire concept of imagining a world without either of the two sexes somewhat absurd. A single sexed, sentient race would be incomparable to anything we are familiar with, they would be other than human.

Science fiction has tried to portray such a race and has rarely done well. There was a Star Trek (Next Generation) episode in which the Enterprise crew encountered an alien race whose members were single sexed. It was one of the least imaginative episodes. There was also an episode that featured a race with three sexes, also uninteresting. Octavia Butler's Oankali in "Xenogenesis" was an excellent portrayal of a race with three sexes, but I have never seen or read an interesting and imaginative story about a single sexed race.

The most amusing aspect of "World Without Men" articles is the anticipated feminist rebuttal. These articles do arouse their anger.

I would pay no attention to feminists whatsoever if I did not find them so amusing.

Since I would not exist if there were no men, It is important to me that there are men in the world. I am equally fond of the existence of women. To revive an old French cliché, "Vive la différence."
