I did not include the word “misandrist” in the comment to which you are responding. I have never included that word in any comment or article that I have posted on Medium, so its distinction from the word Feminism is irrelevant to me.
However, since you asked I will offer you the courtesy of an answer.
Feminism is an ideology that operates as the foundation for a movement whose aim is to advance what its participants consider to be the interests of women. Feminists assert that promoting the interests of women is the equivalent of promoting “a gender prejudice free world.”
Misandrist is a term that refers to hatred of men. It is the counterpart of the term misogynist. Misogynist is a term that Feminists often apply to discredit an idea that challenges their ideology. By applying that term they are able to discredit the idea without having to explain the flaws in the idea, usually because there are none.
I hope that I have explained the difference between the two terms with sufficient clarity to relieve you of the burden of feeling sorry for me.
“Feminists only want a gender prejudice free world.”
Who ultimately defines what a gender prejudice free world actually is? Your vision of a perfect world may be entirely different than mine.
