I apply the term “chicksplaining” as a smart-alec retort to an accusation of “mansplaining.”
A woman once accused me of being disrespectful for using the word “chick” at the beginning, instead of woman.
My response: “As the poker player might say: ‘I see your disrespect and raise you one.’
That’s my sexplanation.”
