I am extremely lucky. I regularly tell her so. She feels the same and tells me so. She was also the victim of a cheating husband, and a couple of physically and emotionally abusive relationships.

My former wife had cheated years before. After I agreed to the separation that she asked for, I became involved with a woman. We grew fond of each other. Then, I abandoned her, foolishly so, when my wife ended her affair and expressed a desire to resume our marriage. Six years later, she resumed her affair. We split permenantly and I met my current wife.

I am writing the story in several parts. It was a 10 year long ordeal. If you are interested I'll leave a preview link to the first part (I haven't published it yet).
