I am a guy. I was the victim of a cheating spouse just like you (except in my case it was a cheating wife). I understand what you are saying. Almost every one of your points describes something I went through. I hope that anyone who is thinking of cheating on their spouse will read your post and think again. It's hard to imagine that a decent person would inflict this on somebody.
My wife finally flew the coop to be with the man with whom she had been cheating. Their relationship lasted until he cheated on her. I'd be surprised if your former husband didn't end up cheating on his girlfriend, or if she cheated on him. After all, cheaters cheat; that is their way.
I was lucky. In less than a year, I met the woman I have been with for the last thirty years.
I am grateful to my former wife. I would never have cheated or dismantled my family as she did; it's against my principles. I am thankful she did not have the same principles because her actions allowed me to meet my current wife. We are very happy together. If my former wife had the same principles as I did, my current wife and I would never have found each other.
