Eventually, all clothing sizes will be expressed by a string of zeros. Then, to simplify, the labels will show the number of zeros, (i.e. 1-0, 2-0, ....10-0, etc.) rather than the more cumbersome expression (0, 00, 000, 0000000000, etc.). The way people express themselves tends to gravitate towards simplicity. Ultimately, the superfluous zero will be dropped and only the number will appear.

At that point the system will be back where it started. Then, the cycle will repeat itself.
