“Patriarchy spread in the ancient world because it was so disruptive…”
Did it spread because it was disruptive, or was it disruptive because it spread?
Innovative business operators are always open to more effective forms of organization. It seems that the partnership model that you advocate is accepted by some and resisted by others. If it proves more competitive and profitable, then the resisters will have to join or perish.
It seems that what you are advocating is plain old-fashioned good leadership. A good leader can lead his followers to their destination. A great leader can lead his followers to their destination even when they think he is going the wrong way. The best leader can lead his followers to their destination even when it is a different destination than the one they thought they wanted to reach.
One who needs to use coercion is a weak leader. A greedy, manipulative leader will lead his followers to where he wants to be regardless of what they want. When they are not happy with the destination he will blame someone else.
Some leaders may be who are reluctant to let go of power. Some followers are reluctant to let go of a powerful leader. They feel more secure following a powerful leader. With great power comes great responsibility. I, for one, have always had enough sense to avoid taking on that kind of responsibility.
Although the partnership system may be a better way to operate a business organization, it remains to be seen whether it can be successfully introduced to an entire society.
“…because the shift will come about in a more organic way…”
That is the only way it can come. Imposing it through coercion would be self-defeating since the whole idea is to do away with coercion.
You are a challenge because my brain overheats trying to keep up with you.
