“I received this beautiful one-liner…”
Bless your heart! You did write one “just for me” after all. I’m touched.
…but I’m afraid that you misquoted me. The line is not:
““There are many different kinds of feminism, and they all cause cancer.””
…accurately quoted it reads:
“Feminism is like cigarettes; there are dozens of brands but they all cause cancer.”
It may seem trivial, but I choose my words carefully and I can be annoyingly particular that they be quoted accurately.
For example, the sentence, as correctly quoted, is structured in a way that leaves it unclear what causes cancer. Is it cigarettes, or Feminism, or both? By arranging the wording as I have, I gain plausible deniability that I ever claimed that Feminism causes cancer, while at the same time I invite the reader to believe that Feminism might “cause cancer” (in a hyperbolically metaphorical kind of way). It’s just amazing what I have learned by paying attention to how politicians structure their words.
So you can see why I am particular about being quoted accurately.
What makes you think I hate you? I find your articles amusing; the ones I have read so far. I disagree with much of what you advocate, but I enjoyed reading them.
There is no need for you to engage in subterfuge. Since your articles entertain me, I am perfectly willing to ‘click’ them to help you make more money; all you have to do is ask. I just now clicked your article a couple of extra times to throw a few more dollars into the pot. I’ll click the other articles that you have linked a few extra times when I go to read them. Do claps count for money? If they do, I’ll start giving your articles fifty claps each. After all, it’s not my money. I’ll pay you as much as you want with other people’s money.
Also, it is in my best interest that you profit from your writing. What easier way to expose the double standards and hypocrisy in the practice of Feminist ideology and the logical and interpretive flaws in Feminist theory than to have Feminists do it for me? The more Feminists write, the more they expose the flaws in their ideology, saving me the trouble. The flaws are most effectively exposed by Feminists themselves, in their own words.
The more you are able to profit from your writing the more likely you are to write, thus helping me accomplish one of my goals. Thank you.
So, let me know about those claps, and if they are moneymakers I’ll see that you get a Christmas bonus.

“…a movement that advocates for equality…”
…equality according to whom?

“… nine times out of ten, they’re not writing anything…”
I have, in fact, actually written an original article. You probably won’t like it, but here it is:
By the way, you can freely click any of my articles and commentary without having to endure the unpleasant prospect of enriching my monetary coffers. I provide my articles and commentary as a voluntary service to the community, for which I receive no monetary compensation as is evidenced by the lack of green arcs surrounding my avatar. I write for the pure satisfaction of contributing to my community.
“ …they made accounts on Medium to follow specific tags, usually “feminism” and “equality”, just to leave negative comments.”
While the majority of my comments are critical of Feminist theory and express my defiance of Feminists’ expectations pertaining to my conduct, my thoughts or the content of my conversations, I have indeed commented extensively on other subjects.
I enjoy discussing certain scientific topics, such as…..
….relativity theory…
…and theories surrounding time travel…
I occasionally comment on climate issues (although it’s not one of my favorite topics):
…and if you have not yet deduced it from reading the previously cited comments, I enjoy discussing science fiction…
I, myself, am a science fiction character:
I’m not afraid to comment on religious matters on occasion:
I am no economist, nevertheless I have commented on economic issues:
I have even dabbled in conflict resolution:
I have published personal anecdotes:
…and sometimes I write just plain satire.
In the end though, most of my comments (and my single original article) pertain to Feminism. My general perspective on Feminism is concisely summarized in this comment:
Not mentioned in the cited comment is my absolute opposition to the common Feminist practice of obstructing the public expression of thoughts and ideas that challenge Feminist ideology.
You may relax. I am perfectly comfortable reading articles by those who think differently than I do; I enjoy it. I don’t hate people just because I disagree with them. Besides, hating you would take a lot more effort than this ambitionally disabled commenter is prepared to exert. Keep on speaking your mind and I will do the same.
