At first I thought I was the one who was replaceable.

My wife cheated on me and flew the coop to be with the man with whom she had been cheating. Their relationship lasted until he cheated on her. After all, cheaters cheat; that is their way.

I was lucky. In less than a year, I met the woman I have been with for the last thirty years.

I am grateful to my former wife. I would never have cheated or dismantled my family as she did; it's against my principles. I am thankful she did not have the same principles because her actions allowed me to meet my current wife. We are very happy together. If my former wife had the same principles as I did, my current wife and I would never have found each other.

Which one of us turned out to be replaceable?
