TO ALL MEN:

You are hereby summoned to appear before the Me Too Court of Inquisition to answer charges of sexual heresy and blasphemy. After confessing your sins you will be expected to perform acts of penance as deemed appropriate by the Me Too Panel of Inquisitors. You will then be taken to the chambers of the Grand Inquisitor where you will be interrogated to determine whether you are in league with the patriarchy.

For a man, encountering a woman who is attracted to him, in the mood, and in the right place happens with insufficient frequency. Therefore, he will attempt to create more opportunities by aggressively pursuing sexual access to women.

Some men lack the necessary interpersonal skills to successfully pursue sexual access to women. Their ineptness leads them to use techniques that come across as rude. Their lack of success elicits more rude behavior, which leads to more failure and a downward spiral.

Some people try to get what they want without consideration for others. Likely, there will always be such people.

What is the meaning of the "XD" at the end of your comment?

I don't understand why a man would express contempt for a woman offering him something he wants. I suspect that it would be the other men, to whom she is not making herself available, who, out of jealousy, would call her a slut. Also, other women may be jealous because she has gotten attention from a particularly popular man.

I agree that if the man feels emasculated, he is probably not a suitable match for that woman.

One or two rude people can indeed cause more than their share of distress.

Obviously, men seeking sexual access to women would specifically target women. It would be sensible to target women they perceive as approachable and alone. If their experience has been that women are resistant to allowing sexual access, then approaching vulnerable, persuadable women would be pragmatically sensible.

The questions I have posed are philosophical and theological questions. They concern the nature of consciousness and individual uniqueness. They are not scientific, but they are pertinent to the subject of time travel.

Flight was always familiar to humans in the form of birds and insects. Is it a coincidence that angel wings resemble bird wings?

One of my favorite science fiction stories involving time travel is "The End of Eternity" by Isaac Asimov.

It is centered around a time travel system operated by an exclusive bureaucracy. Its mission is to prevent catastrophic events throughout history.
